Apps my kids are loving this week...

Rightly or wrongly (don't judge too hard if you think wrongly) my iPhone and iPad have become like a nanny to my kids when I need to bide a little time or just get something done.

I love knowing what apps other people's kids are into, so I thought I'd share a few with you that my kids are playing this week.

CBeebies app - My 3 and 6 year old love this. Easy for them to navigate, they can choose to play games from their favourite CBeebies shows and they are learning as they play.

Talking Tom Gold Run - All three of my kids love this one (Ages 8, 6 and 3). It still blows my mind the speed at which my 3 year old son plays this. The ads are a little annoying but he has learnt to wait for the 'x' to appear and then he can continue playing. It's great for their hand to eye coordination and it has also helped with number recognition.

Word Cookies - This one is mainly for my 8 and 6 year old. They simply have to make words out of a selection of letters. you have to look for 2,3 and 4 letter words and if stuck can ask for a 'hint' letter. They love it and can play it together. Good solo or team work game, helps with spelling and reading. My 3 year old does play as well, but stumbles across words accidentally and then asks me what it spells.

- Educational - Fun - Solo/Group - Free -
